We finished Benchmark #2. Hurrah! hopefully we will have results sometime next week if all goes well.
G.L.A.D training was great and I received a lot of good information. The big idea from the training was visual, visual, VISUAL. I liked it.
Finally, math night. It was a huge success. I just wanted to thank all the staff that contributed to make it possible. We served between 300-350 people. Thank you. That is my angle for this week,
Saul

Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Bash begins Monday, February 28th. We will begin our week with D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) each morning from 9:05 – 9:20. Everyday will be a special theme day for students and staff to dress up!! Monday is Cowboy Day; Tuesday—Favorite character day; Wednesday—sports day; Thursday—spirit day (red/white); and wild and wacky day will end our week (no pun intended J). The Scholastic book fair will also be open in the library during the week. And Thursday evening is Family Reading Night (5:30 – 7:00). We have a wide-range of community volunteers coming to read that evening. Please encourage students to attend. Every student that attends will receive a new book from the Page Ahead Grant. Enjoy a fun-filled week!
