Kudos, to the OSPI folks, at least this first day. The sessions I attended were engaging and very informative. You never know when you attend conferences, but from Terry's keynote address to the sessions, the conference is very solid.
The most interesting came from the Schools of Distinction session I went to and how they climbed into the data to see what schools made significant gains on student achievement. I will be sharing that information with staff and seeing how we can incorporate some of that work into what we're doing.
On another note, I received today our administrator surveys back. These surveys catagorize my performance under three major areas. This is good data and will drive our work as we continue to improve our administrator practice.
