Giving Thanks

The first snow of the year at Outlook!

Well, looking at the first dusting of snow must mean winter is indeed here. Looking back in November we've had some great experiences: Parent Conferences, the Thanksgiving feast (see pictures below), and working together as a staff to help students in a variety of ways.

Being that it's the season to reflect back a bit, I sit here in the office and the school is quiet. It's in the evening and I'm so very thankful for so much in my life. Though I've only been here a few months, I've been impressed by the overall kindness and caring this staff exhibits, both for each other and for the students. I'm thankful for a school district that supports their schools and employees with a genuine heart for the individual.

I'm equally thankful for my health and family. This is the first Thanksgiving without my father. That was tough. Hearing music and sitting down at the dinner table without him there was something I imagined would happen someday...just not sooner than later. But he was with us...we all could feel his fellowship.

Hoping you had a great Thanksgiving...
-Mr. Bowman
