END OF JUNE UPDATE

The new gym floor arrived late last week.

Really quite cool how they construct the flooring!

Things are being moved and cleaned, as usual.

Thanks to the counselors for setting up our AR walls. They look great!

The kitchen is being mapped and drawn out.

Though no cafeteria, we do have cafeteria tables. Go figure :)

Enjoy your summer.

SUMMER IS CALLING

The end of June and as things wind down here at school, I'm excited for some summer break. I'm also encouraged by what the coming year brings, with new challenges, new people, new curriculum, and new changes.

That's a lot of "news"... (oh, a pun, a really bad one but I do believe that it is the first one this whole year of blogging :)

I'm looking forward to taking some very needed time relaxing with family, fishing, and maybe a trip to the beach, along with some writing if I'm lucky.

I'll try and post various info over the summer about progress on the cafeteria and gym, any new info about reading and such, a bunch of other stuff, if I get time :) hehehe

Out of reach almost...

OUTLOOK FIELD DAY

Fun had by all!

Well, the last day at Outlook has come and gone and oh, what a day. There was such fun and good times had by all. I was proud to be a part of it, since this was my first time seeing the field day. So many people helped to make this such a great day so... thank you! And, you have to love the picture of our district safety director's body language as he anticipates going in . . . which he did :)

TALENTED

I had a chance to watch and participate in the Talent Show at Outlook last Friday. It was great. I was so impressed by the quality of talent that I saw, and kudos to all of those who helped make it special.

I am also reminded that the need for music and the arts is so vital and important! Go, talent, go!

Career Fair

Kudos to our counselors for setting up the career fair. I was very impressed with how it went this first year. Though we put things together fairly fast, I was happy to see the kids asking good questions. Next year's will be even better, especially since we'll have our own commons/gym to utilize.

Yeah!
